Frequently Asked Questions

FAQ

Q: Who originally made your figures?
A: Our figures were originally made by a number of different companies. Naturally, a good deal of what we make are from the original Barclay line. However, we also reproduce styles first made by companies such as Manoil, Tommy Toy, All-NU and some firms who's identities still remain unknown. The original manufacturer, when known, will be noted in the item's description.

Q: Do you use original molds to make your figures?
A: No, we do not (Unfortunately, almost all of the molds from the original companies were scrapped long ago for their bronze content). However, to assure the greatest accuracy, we search for the best possible figures to serve as our patterns. We then create all new molds directly from those figures.

Q: How is it possible to tell your figures from the originals?
A: Our figures differ from the originals in two basic ways: Ours are solid metal (originals were hollow) and the attention to detail in the painting is far greater than was found in the old figures.

Q: Can I choose the colors I want?
A: You can state a color preference, and we we do our best to match it from what's currently in stock. However, WE CANNOT PROMISE YOU WILL GET THE COLORS SPECIFIED.

Q: How long does it take to fill an order?
A: Provided it is in stock, we usually get orders out within 5 working days. If something is out of stock, we will do our best to fill the order as promptly as possible, but please remember, these are hand made items and are very labor intensive. we do not bring our figures in by the boatload from china, we make everything ourselves on what amounts to a semi-custom basis. We will not sacrifice quality for the sake of expediency.
