Well, the divorce was finally settled the other day, ending what was undoubtedly one of the darkest times I had to endure. Hopefully, I can put it behind me, and start to rebuild my life & business.
To all my customers who patiently waited for me to fill their orders, or contact them, my most heartfelt "thanks". I'm not going to go into it & sound like a drama queen, but honestly, the stress load and depression I've been going through the past year and a half, had rendered me totally non-functional some days/weeks. To the people who reached out and sent me notes of encouragement & understanding, your words meant a lot to me. To the people who think I'm Amazon, and couldn't care less about anything other than their orders, oh well, I'm doing the best I can, I'm not Superman over here.
Anyway, let's all try to be the "Barclay Family" that I like to think we are, let's just put this episode in the rear view mirror of life, and now I can concentrate on bringing this company back to where it should be.
Visiting my workbenches for the first time in almost six months, my casting area, in well over a year now. Have to take stock of paint inventory, etc, and see where I stand in terms of making stuff. Have to dig around and find molds, patterns, so I can make new molds, etc. Casting shop is a mess, I basically walked away from everything when we were planning the move, and haven't touched anything there, since. Haven't updated the catalogs or website in almost three years now, need to re-establish my business contacts, too. Hopefully, they still love me. Looking like this is gonna be a long, hard, expensive pull, to get thing right again, and moving in a positive direction. Hoping it's also my mood clouding my outlook a bit.....Maybe more coffee and a cigarette would help.....couldn't hurt (much) at this point
